School Conference in
Orlando, Florida.
This conference is at-
tended annually by
over 400 representa-

from Charter schools
across the state. Also
in attendance were
administrators of char-
ter schools, principals,
vice principals, teach-
ers and other top ad-
ministrative staff. The
main topic for this
conference was
“Charter Schools: Not
Just Another Public
School.” This confer-
ence is another confer-
ence in a series signi-
fying the shift from
public schools to char-
education. She talked
about the role that
teachers play. She said
that teachers play a
pivotal role in a stu-
dent’s life; and also,
that a teacher gets a
second chance with a
student ever y single
day. Overall, there is
a shift happening from
public schools to char-

Global Tutors is look-

a big part in making
this transition work.
